You go to bed in one kind of world...

"The first fall of snow is not only an event, it is a magical event. You go to bed in one kind of a world and wake up in another quite different, and if this is not enchantment, then where is it to be found?" -J.B. Priestley

I came across this quote on Rachel's tumblr and thought it so appropriate for us Georgians right now. It kinda helps explain why snow makes us freak out.

And to further demonstrate Mr. Priestley's point, here is the kind of walk Kyle and I had on Saturday by the Savannah River:

And here's our stroll through the snow on Monday:

Two very different worlds indeed! Gotta love it. We had a blast rocking our PJs, watching movies and reading books during our snow day in Augusta. I hope everyone is staying safe and not going too stir crazy from all this time off!

Note to self: You'll want to remember this post when it is 100+ degrees outside in July.
